The camp features a very realistic reenactment of a Fur Trader’s Camp from around 1840. Guests can learn about how tipis were constructed to protect the traders from the elements of the weather and how they were made to assemble and disassemble for quick travel.

Come see this new Outdoor Education Experience\, an interactive\, multi-cultural space that introduces the American West through science\, technology\, engineering\, arts\, math\, and citizenship in an immersive hands-on\, minds-on environment. \nLiichokoshkomo’ (the Chickasaw phrase for “Let’s play!”) shares all aspects of our diverse Western heritage. This cultural meeting place will encourage children and families to explore a Western heritage by examining differing viewpoints and historical perspective. The Museum hopes to impart an understanding of how to learn from the past; setting children on a path of constructive reflection\, discovery\, and life-long learning.

DESCRIPTION:Each year\, Homeschool Oklahoma holds Capitol Day\, when homeschooling families from all over Oklahoma travel to the state capitol to visit our legislators. These families share their appreciation for our legislators and their work to protect our freedoms\, and they also may share concerns about any legislation that may infringe upon that freedom. \nIn the Great State of Oklahoma\, homeschooling families are free to teach their children in the way they desire with no interference from the state. Our great state has fewer regulations concerning homeschooling than any other state\, with the ability to educate our children “by other means” built right into the state constitution. Homeschool Oklahoma works to keep homeschooling as free from regulations as possible in our state. A ticket is required for all guests ages 3 and up. Adult tickets may be limited to two per family. Tickets must be used within a seven (7) day period starting 9/7/22 and ending 9/13/22. No refunds will be issued for unused or expired days. Universal’s Severe Weather Policy can be found here. \nCompleting registration and payment for this trip signifies your full agreement with all Event Policies\, including the Cancellation & Refund Policy listed above. \nAbout This Trip\nAlthough you are buying your tickets as part of a group\, your family is free to enjoy your trip however you please. Stay in whatever lodging you like\, and follow whatever schedule works for your family. You do NOT have to use the exact check-in/out dates listed above. Park tickets will be available to use starting on September 7th\, and your allotted days must be used by September 13th. Make your plans with that in mind\, including your travel dates. (Refunds are not available for unused or expired park days.) \nThis trip is scheduled for right after Labor Day — a time when park crowds are likely to be low. The weather should still be warm enough (average temps: 89° / 74°) to enjoy the Volcano Bay water park. Expect humidity and the occasional rain shower\, and dress accordingly. \nTransportation\nFlying or driving is up to you! Most Orlando hotels will charge for guest parking ($15-25 seems standard). If you fly (and skip the rental car)\, expect to pay up to $35-100 for transportation to/from your lodging\, depending on method\, distance\, family size\, and number of bags. You can arrange motorcoach pickup in advance\, or hail a cab or Uber\, etc. when you arrive. Uber and Lyft are quite popular near the parks and hotels\, and reasonably affordable\, but having 4 or more passengers may increase your wait time. Once you are on the resort\, Universal’s FREE transportation (buses\, water taxis\, etc.) and walking are your best bets for getting around the property. \nLodging\nSince this is not a high demand season\, lodging rates are fairly reasonable. Due to the perks of staying on the property\, you should check out Universal’s onsite resorts first. For example\, Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites is currently offering rates from $93 per night for our dates! (Rates as of 6/1/22; subject to change and availability.) Other hotels are offering good deals\, and many offer family suites\, too! DESCRIPTION:Tulsa Ballet is excited to announce the second installment in the Hardesty Family Foundation Children’s Series:  Jack and the Beanstalk!  Join us as we follow Jack up the giant beanstalk to a world with castles in the sky\, magical treasures\, and one despicable Ogre. With choreography by Resident Choreographer Ma Cong\, sets and costumes by New Zealand’s top designer Tracy Grant Lord\, and incredible dancing by Tulsa Ballet II\, Jack and the Beanstalk encourages the audience to expand their imagination.  A musical score assembled by Principal Company Pianist Andrew Lahti and narration by Dan McGeehan\, who also adapted the story\, help create an entertaining and educational performance perfect for the young and young at heart!
