Over the last 14 years\, attendance for this event has soared from 35\,000 visitors in 2008 to more than 150\,000. This year the annual holiday celebration will be open for 47 days\, giving as many Tulsans as possible a chance to enjoy skating outside BOK Center beneath the beautiful\, gleaming holiday lights. \nEnjoy 9\,000 square feet of beautifully-maintained ice as you skate. Skate sizes include: Toddler size 8 up through adult size 15 (subject to availability). Six skating guides are free to use (first come\, first serve). Non-skaters enter Winterfest free! DESCRIPTION:4 Days. 4 Colleges. 4 Free Sessions.\n\n\nFor high school students and parents! \nEach day\, Monday through Thursday\, CiRCE President Andrew Kern will lead a session on choosing a college\, followed by an address and Q&A with that day’s featured college. \nEvery session will be recorded for those who can not attend live and the colleges will follow up with additional information about applying. \n\n“We’ve spent 18 years giving our son a classical education in our home\, where do we send him?” \n“My daughter is graduating from a classical school\, now what?” \n“How do I find a college that values real education\, that cares about my continued growth and formation?” \nThese are questions we hear from parents and students every year at events\, online\, and in one-on-one conversations around the country. A cursory look at the landscape of higher education can be disheartening. It can seem just as bleak as the state of primary schools that caused so many to seek solace in the recovery of classical education. \nFortunately\, there ARE a growing number of institutions that not only value the experiences classical education has given students at schools\, co-ops\, and kitchen tables across the country and seek to provide opportunities for those students to continue their education. SUMMARY:Traveling Homeschoolers: Virtual Spy School
DESCRIPTION:Challenge your students to use their observation skills to spot threats and opportunities\, work as a team to reveal secrets\, and think like a gadget-maker to solve problems. \nOur spy school is targeted to students in grades 3 and up\, and adults. Participants will explore the shadow-world of espionage through interactive challenges with real-world stories. Do you have what it takes to be a spy? \nSpots are limited\, but we have multiple programs scheduled on November 16 to accommodate as many students as possible. Your family will be assigned to one of those programs\, so keep 10:00 am through 5:00 pm EST open that day. (The program will run around 1 hour. You won’t be able to choose your time.)
