Expect humidity and the occasional rain shower\, and dress accordingly. \nTransportation\nFlying or driving is up to you! Most Orlando hotels will charge for guest parking ($15-25 seems standard). If you fly (and skip the rental car)\, expect to pay up to $35-100 for transportation to/from your lodging\, depending on method\, distance\, family size\, and number of bags. You can arrange motorcoach pickup in advance\, or hail a cab or Uber\, etc. when you arrive. Uber and Lyft are quite popular near the parks and hotels\, and reasonably affordable\, but having 4 or more passengers may increase your wait time. Once you are on the resort\, Universal’s FREE transportation (buses\, water taxis\, etc.) and walking are your best bets for getting around the property. \nLodging\nSince this is not a high demand season\, lodging rates are fairly reasonable. Due to the perks of staying on the property\, you should check out Universal’s onsite resorts first. For example\, Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites is currently offering rates from $93 per night for our dates! (Rates as of 6/1/22; subject to change and availability.) Other hotels are offering good deals\, and many offer family suites\, too! Over the last 14 years\, attendance for this event has soared from 35\,000 visitors in 2008 to more than 150\,000. DESCRIPTION:Did you know owls swallow their food whole\, bones and all? After digesting what they can\, owls regurgitate a little lump of fur and bones. These are called owl pellets. Dissecting an owl pellet and identifying the bones inside allows your student scientists to study the diet of owls. Each student will receive their own owl pellet dissection kit and a small bag to take home all of the bones they find and identify.
