About the Retreat
Is Radiant Moms’ Retreat a conference with speakers and trainings?
Nope. Homeschool conferences are wonderful — but they can also create insecurity and stress about our homeschool choices. Radiant Moms’ Retreat is meant to be different! This weekend will be opportunity to focus on rest, relationships, and spiritual renewal. Time is set aside on Sunday for individual devotions (Morning Watch), but we will not host a speaker or trainings.
Why is the retreat in February?
Homeschooling can be hard anytime — but many homeschooling moms find it especially challenging during the chilly, fretful days of February. The first weekend in February is the perfect time to get away with friends, and find the encouragement we need to finish strong.
Why is the retreat in Northwest Arkansas?
Northwest Arkansas is an easy drive from Tulsa, and offers a wonderful variety of attractions (many that are inexpensive or free), without the bustle and traffic of a large metropolitan area.
Can I bring my husband, kids, or non-CC friends?
This retreat is a CC moms-only weekend. Nursing infants are welcome, but the rest of the family (and non-CC friends) should not attend.
Registration
Do I need to register in order to participate?
Yes, please. Registration gives us a better headcount for events, and the nominal fee helps cover the cost of space and hospitality.
What if I need to cancel my Registration?
If you need to cancel for any reason, please contact us as soon as possible. Retreat Registration is refundable until January 20, 2021. After January 20th, Retreat Registration may be transferred to another attendee but refunds will not be available.
If you must cancel, don’t forget to cancel your hotel reservations! Rooms at our Retreat hotel are refundable until 48 hours prior to check-in.
Lodging
How do I book my hotel room?
When you register for the retreat, you’ll receive a Confirmation Email with a link to download our 2021 Hotel Information. To reserve your hotel room, download the PDF and follow the booking instructions. (The download link can also be found on your SageMint Account page anytime. Just go to My Account > Orders and you’ll find it there.)
Do I have to stay at the retreat hotel?
Not at all. You are welcome to make other arrangements, including staying with local friends or family. If you plan to book a hotel room, however, we encourage you to take advantage of the deeply-discounted rate at our retreat hotel and enjoy its many amenities, including the hospitality suite.
Do I have to stay for both nights?
No. If you are unable to stay for both nights, please join us for as long as you can.

What will the 2021 t-shirts look like?
Our 2021 shirt design is still in the works. We hope to reveal the new design 3-4 weeks before the retreat.
What will be in the Swag Bag?
The contents of our Swag Bags are TOP SECRET. Each Swag Bag will include a t-shirt (design to be revealed), but you can expect additional fun — and possibly tasty — surprises to please and delight!
