Advent is upon us! As we celebrate the arrival of God With Us, we’re sharing just a taste of the fantastic December events that populate the SageMint community calendar — with more added each day.

Nov 27-JAN 1 • Rhema Bible Church

Rhema Christmas Lights

Experience the Rhema Christmas Lights Extravaganza, a dazzling holiday tradition since 1982. Millions of LED lights adorn the 110-acre campus, transforming it into a winter wonderland.

December 6 • WeStreet Ice Center

Homeschool Friday

A homeschool skate for all homeschooled families at Tulsa’s premiere ice skating and hockey facility. Two sessions available.

$6 per person
December 10 • Camp Loughridge

Christmas Ball: A Winter Formal Contra Dance

Open to any homeschool student age 14+ and parents. Recent graduates are also welcome! Attire is formal.

$15 per person
December 13-22 • Guthrie Green

QuikTrip’s JollyTown

Stroll through a winter wonderland, listen to the sounds of the season, and enjoy free crafts and activities. Don’t forget to say hi to Santa! This interactive event is fun for the whole family!

Tulsa Christmas Parade

Since 1926, the Tulsa Christmas Parade has entertained thousands of children and adults year after year as it winds through the historic streets of downtown Tulsa.

Share homeschool-friendly events to the calendar — it’s 100% online, easy, and FREE! If we post your submission, you’ll get one entry in this month’s prize drawing.

To enter, share a homeschool-friendly event to our community calendar by clicking here, completing the form, and hitting submit. If the event you submitted is added to our calendar, you get one entry in the current month’s drawing.

In order to be eligible for the monthly drawing, submitted events must be:

  • NEW to the calendar (i.e. no one has already submitted it)
  • Scheduled to take place AFTER the date of submission
  • A family-oriented event with obvious appeal to local homeschoolers
  • Events that meet our user submission guidelines here

We can’t post every submission, so make sure to focus on events that appeal to our target audience. (NOTE: We reserve the right to edit, modify, or reject user-submitted content for any reason.)

Absolutely! We’re happy to accept submissions from anyone. Please help other homeschool families discover great new events by sharing them to the calendar.

Nope! We’re happy to promote homeschool-friendly events anywhere in the United States! Please share your events — and share the calendar with your friends so they can do the same! As the Events calendar grows to serve more families across the country, we will offer additional geo-locatation options to help sort events that are local to you.

The winner of each month’s drawing will be randomly selected from all approved events submitted between the first and last days of the current month (the event date may be scheduled at any time). Drawing will take place after the last day of each month. The winner will be notified via email, using the email address in their SageMint account profile.

Entrants receive one (1) entry in the Monthly Drawing for each approved submission of an eligible event. Eligible events must be previously unsubmitted, unexpired, and are subject to verification. Recurring events constitute a single entry. Event submissions must meet SageMint LLC’s user submission guidelines as disclosed here. SageMint LLC reserves the right to edit, modify, or reject user-submitted content for any reason. Entries are eligible in the month submitted only. No cash value. Additional terms may apply.
