Ready to attract fresh faces to your homeschool-friendly events?

Post your family-focused events to the SageMint Calendar and get connected with homeschoolers near you. Events post for FREE!

Submit events in just a few clicks.

We’ve made submitting events super simple. Just gather a few basic details about your event and use our intuitive web portal to submit online.

Step one

Collect Event Info

Gather the particulars about your event, craft a compelling description, and grab an eye-catching image. Copy details about the venue, including an exact address (or coordinates), and contact information for the event organizer.

Planning to collect RSVPs on our site? You’ll also need to choose capacity, dates of availability, and what info to collect from attendees (name, email, phone, etc.)

(Be sure to proofread your text and verify its accuracy! We also recommend a review of SageMint’s User Submissions Policy here.)

Step Two

Choose Your Ticket Hub

Want to post your event to our Calendar but sell tickets or collect RSVPs on another website? Our platform allows you to link your event to an external website such as Google Forms, Facebook, Evite, EventBrite — even your own website or online shop. Just add the URL in your event post and visitors will be redirected right to you!

Manage events here with the Event Dashboard. Post and promote an event, collect free RSVPs, manage attendees, and even check-in your guests — without creating a website or paying for an expensive platform.

Step Three

Create Your Event

Now you’re all set! Login to our easy-to-use Event Dashboard and create your event.

Add event details, set a date and time, upload the event image, and create RSVPs. Hit “Submit” and your event is in the queue for us to review.

Step Four

Countdown to Calendar

Most events will be reviewed within 24 hours. Once your submission is ready for primetime, we’ll post it to the Calendar. (If the event needs more editing, we’ll touch base with you via email.)

After approval, you’ll have the ability to view your event in the Calendar and even make edits in My Account > My Events. (Note: Additional edits may trigger event moderation.)

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have questions about how to create events, or sell tickets? You’re in the right spot!

Posting events is 100% free! You can link your event to an external website or collect free RSVPs for your events at no charge. At this time, paid ticketing is available only on a case-by-case basis. Contact us for more information.

RSVPs can be managed in the Event Dashboard. To view, login to your SageMint account. Go to My Account > My Events and then click on the desired event. Available reports include Attendees and Sales. You can also check-in your guests, export CSV files, or search attendee data.

SageMint’s target audience is homeschooling families interested in local resources — and we curate content which appeals to that audience. We reserve the right to post only those events and listings we believe serve our target demographics, and align with our Mission Statement and Core Values.

In general, we do NOT post events that are commercial (sales solicitations, job postings, training courses, networking, marketing, etc.), overtly political, aimed at mature audiences, misleading, or obvious spam. Submissions that promote government-funded school-at-home programs, along with certain other types of businesses, probably won’t make the cut either. If in doubt about your event, take a look at our Editorial Discretion policy and a list of exclusions here before submitting the content.

Paid ticketing is available on a case-by-case basis for a small percentage. If you’re interested in selling paid tickets to your event on the SageMint platform, contact us! We’d be happy to discuss available options.

We hope to make paid ticketing available site wide sometime in the near future.
