Celebrate the 25th anniversary of Coldplay’s breakthrough debut album Parachutes with a special tribute concert at Guthrie Green on Saturday, September 20, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
A talented group of local musicians will perform the Parachutes album in its entirety, featuring iconic tracks like “Yellow,” “Shiver,” and “Trouble.”
Released in 2000, Parachutes introduced the world to Coldplay’s intimate, melodic sound. It helped mark a new era in alternative rock. The album earned Coldplay their first Grammy Award, went multi-platinum worldwide, and is frequently named one of the best debut albums of all time.
