Join us for Summer Story Time, presented by Fowler Automotive , on Wednesday, August 6, at 10 a.m. on the Guthrie Green stage. Enjoy a morning of stories with Pot It Like It’s Hot , free activities, crafts, and more!
Nicole Powell with Pot It Like It’s Hot will read her book, Curtis the Cactus. She will also have plant-themed activities to go along with the book.
Wonderworks will be offering free face painting.
ABOUT CURTIS THE CACTUS
Jada adores her cactus garden, where each cactus has unique charm and beauty. However, despite Jada’s care, the cacti are slowly dying. After seeking advice from various experts to no avail, Jada encounters Curtis the Cowboy Cactus, who offers his help. Curtis, with his unique approach, identifies the root cause of the problem: the cacti’s inability to get along. Will the cacti be able to overcome their differences and restore harmony in the garden?
